Ulster Bank credit cards have lots of free safety measures - all designed to protect your card from fraudulent use.
Fraud warnings
If we think there's a fraudulent transaction on your credit card, we will call you to make sure.
Chip and PIN
Your Ulster Bank credit card uses the latest Chip and PIN technology to fight card fraud. A microchip in the card stores data more securely. When you shop, you will be asked to type your PIN into a special keypad.
Ulster Bank Secure - an extra layer of protection
Ulster Bank Secure allows you to use a dedicated password to confirm online payments.
It's completely free, and ensures that only a genuine cardholder can make the purchase.
It's easy to register.
Extra Optional Protection
Card Protection Plus (CPP)
Please note that Card Protection Plus (CPP) has been withdrawn from sale with effect from 9th January 2012. Any customer who has an existing CPP policy is not affected by this.
