Student account is available to full time (minimum course length of 2 years, maximum of 5 years), third level students resident in Northern Ireland only. Only one student account per student. The overdraft facility must be repaid within one year of course completion.
Graduate account is available if you graduated in the past 12 months (and your course lasted at least two years). The graduate package is valid for 12 months. In July after the end of this 12-month period, we will change your account to a Current Plus Account (depending on the terms and conditions of the account). We will write to you 60 days before doing this.
*Overdraft is repayable on demand. The overdraft facility may not be exceeded without the prior permission of Ulster Bank. If you exceed your overdraft limit, surcharge interest in addition to debit interest will be applied on any amount over the authorised limit, other charges may also apply. Please see our booklet A Guide to Personal Account Fees and Interest for details. Credit is available to over 18s only, depending on your circumstances.
