With Ulster Bank Black Card you get round-the-clock, multi-lingual support and assistance. No registration is required - just simply call 0845 301 7629 and our assistants will be ready to help you with your enquiry.


Airport Lounge Access

With your Ulster Bank Black Card you get access to over 550 airport lounges worldwide as well as complimentary services when you're travelling. Airport Angel will send you a membership card soon after you receive your Ulster Bank Black Card. You must present this membership card to gain entry into the airport lounges that Airport Angel offer.

If you wish to allow a guest entry to the airport lounge, you must register your Ulster Bank Black Card details on airportangel.co.uk/ulsterbankblackcard or by calling 0845 301 7629 prior to them accessing the lounge. A charge of £15 (including VAT) per visit applies per additional person.

Airport Angel also offer a unique AirText service which keeps you in touch with your check-in, departure time and boarding arrangements. AirText will also inform chosen contacts of your arrival time so they can be there to meet you. To avail of the AirText service, you must register your details at airportangel.co.uk/ulsterbankblackcard or by calling 0845 301 7629 prior to boarding your flight.

Worldwide Travel Insurance

If you book with your Ulster Bank Black Card you are covered should your flight be delayed or cancelled and you have cover for luggage loss or delay or loss of keys and papers. You also get cover for hospital treatment and medical expenses abroad. No registration is required.


Roadside Assistance

If your car develops a problem, night or day, all year round, Ulster Bank Black Card helps get you back on the road without delay. You must register your car registration number by telephone prior to availing of this assistance. Call 0845 301 7629.


Home Emergencies

Take some of the hassle out of home emergencies with just one phone call. You have immediate access to a nationwide network of qualified, local trades people, day or night. You can avail of up to £750 per claim including parts, labour, materials and VAT. No registration is required.


Travel Assistance

You can avail of pre-travel information and help with arranging itineraries and travel documents such as visas, permits and passports. You also get Medical Assistance if required, which covers arranging an emergency appointment with a doctor or dispatch of essential medicines while abroad. If you need legal assistance you can avail of cover for legal fees incurred while abroad. No registration is required.


Travel Pass

Our Travel Pass service is ready and waiting to help you out while abroad. All you have to do is register online at cpptravelpass.co.uk/ulsterbankblackcard or call us on 0845 301 7629 and select option 3 to enjoy the following benefits:

  • Passport Assistance

    If your passport is lost or stolen whilst abroad, we will help you arrange a replacement. You must register your details before you travel so we can provide you with assistance.

  • Mobile Phrasebook

    We can provide a downloadable phrasebook for a mobile phone*. The phrasebook is available in one of 10 languages and provides translations from English to your chosen language for a range of words and phrases for use on your trip. Remember to download this before you travel.

  • Interpreter In Your Pocket

    We can provide access to an over the phone interpreter service which costs £1.99 per minute (plus VAT). You must register to use this service, as you'll need your subscription number to access it.

If calling from a mobile phone whilst abroad, a roaming charge may apply. Your card offers you the peace of mind of added insurance and protection including coverage for cash stolen after being withdrawn from an ATM using your Ulster Bank Black Card.


Card Protection

The inconvenience and worry of losing or having your cards stolen becomes a thing of the past. One call will immediately cancel your cards and arrange replacements. You are covered for up to £20,000 if your bank holds you liable for the loss of your cards. You can avail of up to £3,000 emergency cash to tide you over which you will pay back later, within 28 days. You will also get up to £100 to cover the cost of communicating your loss to the bank. No registration is required.


Extended warranty

This extends the manufacturer's warranty by an additional warranty of two years for new brown and white goods purchased with the Ulster Bank Black Card. It applies in case of failure (internal damage only) of an insured item to operate for the purpose for which it has been designed, as covered by the terms of the Original Warranty which must provide cover for a minimum of 24 months. No registration is required.


Purchase protection

This provides cover in the event that goods purchased with the Ulster Bank Black Card are stolen or damaged. In the event of theft or accidental (external) damage to an item worth at least £50 purchased with the Ulster Bank Black Card within 100 days of purchase, the insurer will reimburse the repair or the price paid for the good, subject to terms and conditions of the Purchase Protection Policy. No registration is required.


ATM Assualt cover

This provides cover by reimbursing the stolen cash following an aggravated theft up to six hours after a withdrawal from an ATM using your Ulster Bank Black Card. Total claims must not exceed £830 in one calendar year. No registration is required.


Handbag and wallet theft

This cover reimburses the purchase price of a wallet and/or handbag following a theft in explainable circumstances together with the Ulster Bank Black Card. Total claims must not exceed £415 in one calendar year. This cover excludes the contents of a wallet and/or handbag. No registration is required.


Ticket cancellation

This cover reimburses the purchase price of a ticket for an event such as an opera, concert or sporting event, in certain unforeseen circumstances, purchased with the Ulster Bank Black Card. No registration is required.
